Are Intel cpu sockets differ from each-other ?

I have a intel dual core 2.70 ghz proccessor, and i was planning to buy Intel Xeon W3565 Quad Core 3.20GHz SLBEV 8MB 4.8 GT/s LGA1366 ... But i am affraid that it wont fit in the socket? How can i know if it is going to fit in the socket? where to check? Thanks in advance!

Likely you do not have a socket 1366 board as i'm fairly sure Intel didn't make a dual core in socket 1366 as they were used in enthusiast and server level equipment.

@bignastyid @GamingEnthusiast420 Thank you for your responses... apparently intel sockets do differ from each other, and mine is not copatible with the cpu i wanted to buy
