Need Advice on Build

Parents bought me a laptop when I entered high school 5 years ago. I've always been into gaming and while it wasn't the best laptop, it was enough for what I played. 5 years later and i'm still using it. Nowadays is struggled with most everything and i've always had issues with overheating. I've decided to custom build a PC that will be able to handle games such as Overwatch on decent settings and any other games I may wanna try such as Rainbow Six Siege. I've been looking at builds online and I built one on PC Part picker, but the only issue is I have no real clue what I am doing. If you could offer advice as to what to change that would be greatly appreciated. The link to my build is: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Wb6wFd . I'd like to keep the price around $1350. Along with this, I assume this build would be able to handle most games on high settings, or at least I would hope so, haha. Is there any parts that I may be missing? I read that no additional sound cards are needed and that the motherboard has a built in wired internet connection so that I did not have to purchase those. Will it have sufficient cooling? Thank you for the all feedback and responses!

That's a huge difference in the power supply. Is that needed?

Games are becoming more demanding these days and needs more cores. This will last you longer.

The cooling system that comes with the i7 is good enough to not need an extra cooler right? How long would this last without needing any upgrades whatsoever?
