Games all under-utilize both GPU and CPU yet play like ass.. What'd be the reason for this? I'm running a i7980x at 4.01 (Stable) 10g ram, 1070 gtx..
GPU and CPU usage low, but game plays crappy..

Yeah, I'm boggled.
Something is limiting me yet I can't ascertain what. I know the Mobo itself will cause me issues soon, limited processor support and only PCiE 2, but at the moment I dunno what's happening.

pcie 2 is irrelevant, that is not an issue

Yeah, they're never excessive by my standards. This new card runs a little warmer than my last, 70c under max load ( After marginal OC) during benchmarking/stressing. The CPU never gets anywhere above 70 either, unless I'm stress-testing with prime95 during which it then hovers at around 80c.
I'm also in horrible ambient temps too. 80f+ xD
