Hello everyone,

I'm trying to learn about PC gaming by building my first PC.
It will be specifically for gaming and content creating (recording gameplay footage, editing videos, etc.) I'm hoping to stay around a budget of $500 - $700.

I only know a little about PCs, but i'm interested in building a machine that I can use to learn as much as possible, before I try to build a far more powerful and expensive one in the future.

I'm hoping to build a machine that I can comfortably play Minecraft, Runescape, WoW, Steam Games, FPS, etc.

I'm not opposed to 4Kor VR capability, but i'm perfectly comfortable with 1080p and no VR. I could be described as mildly curious at best.
I wouldn't mind having a computer capable of them from day one or upgrading to it later on.

I'm not sure what kind of monitor I should start with, but i'm interested in learning what brands are preferred and why.

I'm also not sure what tools I should make sure I have before I attempt to put anything together.

Any tips for beginners you have is appreciated and any builds you have in-mind for beginners is also totally appreciated.

Please share your opinions on this build I have in-mind, critique it as much as possible if you like:

- Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Windforce Graphic Card (GV-N105TWF2OC-4GD)

- Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1 TB 7200RPM 3.5" SATA Internal Hard Drive OEM
- SanDisk Ultra II 240GB SATA 6G/s 2.5" Solid State Drive (SSD) SDSSDHII-240G
- operating system - I prefer Windows 8, but i'm open to any suggestions

Hopefully, i'm not missing anything, but please let me know if I am. Hopefully, everything I have listed is compatible, if not please also let me know.

Thank you.

- you don't need a 750W PSU. Get a quality supply like the Seasonic S12II-430, the Corsair CXM450(CX450m - not the 430), XFX Pro or XFX Core 450W.
- lose the 92mm fan. Your case comes with 2 fans.
- you're missing a CPU. Any Intel i3/5/7-6X00 is compatible with the board. Any CPU that doesn't end with a "k" comes with a cooler. Therefore:
- lose the cooler, reinvest in an i5-6500 at least if the budget allows.

Agree with Isokolon with all his Suggestions. Only things i would add are strongly consider Windows 10 over 8 since it looks almost the same as 8 but with superior boot times and Gaming performance (DirectX 12 support) and i would change the GPU to an RX 470 4GB, it is usually around $10-20 more and offers 30%+ more Performance. Hope this helps :)
