I'm going to make a new build in a couple of days and want to know if i have everything i need. and a few questions.

Is is compatible and a good build?
How future-proof is it?
I have screwdrivers and NOTHING ELSE to build, do i have EVERYTHING i need to build the computer, or what do i need to be able to build it, download windows and games and play?
Any recommendations?

Just take your time, make sure everything is plugged into the correct places in the correct orientation and you should be good. Oh, keep your motherboard manual handy, you'll want to consult it often for front panel connector placements, which PCIe slot to use, etc.

The build looks fine, but I always cringe when I hear people saying that they are spending $2k+ on their first build and they don't even know what they are doing. I know you need to start somewhere, but I always say you need to crawl before you walk. Screwdrivers are all you should need, but you might want to watch a LOT of youtube videos of people building PCs to save yourself a bunch of headache once you start the actual build.

Yeah I was not expecting that to be my first build, but I waited years to be able to get one, just wanted to go all out and have it last years, was going for 1070 but with the price drop of the 1080...

And I have been looking at a lot of videos and even got that pc building simulator game, any other tips/other?
