Hi, I have a Acer Aspire T3-710 Desktop PC & i want to add a new graphics card as the built in one is the intel HD-530, i sometimes use flight simulation software so i need a decent Graphics card, i have bought the GEFORCE 1050 low profile with 2gb DDR5, will i have to uninstall the old drivers first as i am not quite up on all this Tech stuff so any help is greatly appreciated.

My specs are
Win 10
intel i7-6700 cpu @ 3.4ghz
16 GB
64 bit operating system
Corsair HX750 PSU
intel HD-530 inbuilt graphics
Many thanks
Gezz :)

What I would do, while you're still using the 530, is download the newest Nvidia drivers off their website. Then shut down the computer and install the card. Then connect the monitor cable to the videocard output, don't forget this step. Then boot up and install the drivers you already downloaded. Since you aren't changing videocards, I wouldn't worry about uninstalling the Intel HD 530 drivers.

Hi, i downloaded the drivers from Nvidia, i installed the graphics card & plugged in my HDMI cable to the graphics card booted up the machine but i have no display at all, my monitor just says no signal, the the PC boots up & fans on the graphics card are running but i have no display, I removed the graphics card & now the computer display is back, could i have a faulty graphics card ? i am at a loss as what to do next as i can't install the graphics card drivers as i have no display ! ):
UPDATE !!
I took the GPU back to the store & they checked it & everything is ok it works, placed back in my mobo, once again no signal on monitor, the gpu is firmly seated in the slot & the fans are running, was told to check the bios to see if i can enable pci slot, went into bios on acer aspire T3-710 but no option in bios to enable pci slot, only option is to disable onboard graphics, problem is if i disable onboard graphics will it then enable my pci slot or completely brick my computer & i will have no display at all ? this is really driving me nuts please help, the BIOS in the Acer aspire sucks bigtime !!
