I was wondering if this CPU AMD Athlon 880k will be enough to run games like Battlefield 1 on Ultra with no stutering or should i need a better cpu and what cpu?

Solution
this game is not friendly with amd older cpus, like that one, only a ryzen will do well

on medium will give you, at 1080p around 50fps, not sure how stable will be, perhaps some stuttering

if you are about to buy that cpu, consider a ryzen r5 or a core i3 at least, if you have it and you wnat to buy the game, play with the settings in medium to high, or lower, also the resolution

I agree, I from 880K and after 3 months i moved to Intel and bought I7-7700K....

U still can play on ultra with 880K and rx480, u get ranging FPS from 30-50. I dont see any shuttering that effect the game play,

Up to you to belive, It has been ages since I bought my self a gaming computer, seriosly, I just thought that budget would be enought for me, but seeing new games with nice graphics, I sold 880K and MB, Ram and power supply to my office and put the I7 with new MB, to support my crossfire RX470 Nitro+....maybe dumb but it feels good to play FarCry Primal on ultra 1080p 120FPS......

But 880K is still good, I have played battlefield running 35-50 FPS with Ultra Setting. with 1 RX470 Nitro+

But if you are looking for Higher FPS then I would saya go For Intel, The Single Core is much beter then Ryzen, yet games Maximum core is only 4 core I think (Correct me if I am wrong)
