While browsing I stumble upon their range of boards and noticed that they are very well reviewed, both by users and reviewers. How so?

I know the company doesn't have the same brand power as the others (Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Evga, etc) and as a consequence here in the UK it is harder to judge them properly, so how have they managed to do so well in the US and are they as good as the reviews would lead me to believe?

ASRock used to be a very poor quality company, but recently their boards have taken on the same aspects you'd see on a board from their parent company, ASUS. Their high end boards are right up there with the competition, but I haven't really done much research on the low end. Still though, promising manufactuer.

Was funny because they started to be spin off to be the budget brand, but then it went against Asus to compete at the high end. Not sure if Asus is too happy about it now :D
