pc cpu fan or gpu fan turns on runs for a bit then goes off

the fan ever siince i purchased it back in 2015 it was so quite , i only hurd this noise just now it isnt that load , u have to get close or be close to hear it , but normally its so quite u will not notice 1 noise from it.

i7 6700k
motherboard z170m-plus

they don't start spinning until 60c .. run a game .. do they spin ?

edit : restart the computer , go into bios by pressing delete or f2 , find fan speed control and sett all fans to full speed . once you have done this.. save and exit bios.. the computer should then restart and you should have a computer that sounds quite noisy! or if you have an excellent sound proof case look inside the case and you should see the fans spinning. the gpu fans won't spin from doing this though so don't worry about that .

you will find that a lot of gpu fans and cpu fans these days don't spin until the gpu or cpu hits a certain temperature . have you set the fans to full speed in bios to see if they still stop spinning?

i have not touched no settings , i dont touch it cause this may overheat or do some harm so i left as it is.

pc is in smoking room so ashes and all that some times goes in pc xd. can it be dust inside ? causing it

fixed.

:na: problem was not the pc , it was water tap left on and it made that noise , all that time i thought it was my pc lol.

what i did then is i turned pc of opened it , the whole power was cut then i heard the noise i thought wtf ? went out the room into the toilet and water was running.

i play 1080p am happy with tht as long the game dont stutter then its ok with me can i play max settings

yeah although MSAA maybe be better x2 or off . i play it with a rx 480 and pentium g4560 and get 30 fps+ so i would say you should be fine .it's cpu intensive and your cpu makes mine seem like it's stuck in reverse ha ha
