Could you install Windows 7 on a brand new laptop?

If I wanted to load Windows 7 onto a new Asus laptop could I do this without any driver issues? I am assuming no because the manufacturer probably doesn't make drivers for an older OS like Win 7 but I'm thinking maybe you could just use Win 10 drivers? Or would that be a terrible idea? I just need a laptop to bring to school and I'd prefer windows 7 since I won't be gaming on it.. just work.

Thanks

Would need more details; are you saying the Asus laptop is built with W10 on it on already?
Either way, I don't see a problem with that, other than it would take some fiddling to find apt drivers to replace the W10 ones (did this for a desktop but the desktop was *specifically* built for W8 so was a little harder). But you can easily look up driver replacements; biggest ones I can think of would be the graphics and internet drivers (nevermind the Windows Key you'd need).

Yeah it has Win 10 installed. I have a fresh Windows 7 pro key but I just don't know how to find replacement drivers. Is there a chance the win10 drivers could work for windows 7?
Thanks

They *maybe* could but my surest answer would be to check out what basic drivers there are right now (graphics, wifi/ethernet, CDrom are what mostly come to mind) and search online for their W7 versions, ie; "soandso driver for windows 7". Try to get what driver information you can, find their W7 versions and be ready with them on a usb to swap them in.
