Most USB/Audio Ports Not Working on MB + Case Except For in BIOS.

Built a PC last year. Everything has worked fine since except for the USB and Audio ports on the case and motherboard. Only one audio port and one USB port work, both on the front case panel. None of the MB panel ports work on the back when the computer is on. All of them work correctly in BIOS. I've read that this could indicate a problem with my OS, which is Windows 7 Ultimate, however, Windows Update has never worked on my computer for some reason. It just "Checks for Updates" indefinitely.

I've tweaked a few things in BIOS, but nothing works. The weird thing is that my wired mouse/keyboard work on two of the four back USB ports and one of the two front USB ports, but the wireless mouse/keyboard connector that I have will only work on the single operational front panel port.

I have tried repairing the driver Asmedia 104x USB3.0 Host Controller Drive which did not work.

My MB is an Asus Crossblade Ranger as seen here: https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboards/CROSSBLADE_RANGER/

I don't know what you mean by "Check with another HDD with Windows 7." I don't have any other HDDs with Windows 7 on them, and I'm unclear with how this would help. I've already reinstalled the drivers for the MB's USB ports.

I've reinstalled Windows once before since building my PC, but I will try it again. Obviously the process can take some time and I have a lot of work to do on my computer over the next week or so, so I will try at some point. For now, I'll select this as the solution and make a new thread later if it doesn't work.

Thanks
