Hello I was wondering if someone could help me. This was my first time building a Gaming PC and it turned out great. It's been over a month, then one day I got back from school and turned on my PC and the temperature was instantly at 100 degrees Celsius. I don't know why this happend I've watched videos on this topic and have done what they've said of dusting of the cooler, and replacing the thermal paste.( My cooler is a Corsair H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler.) ( The paste I used was TG-7.) after putting it on it heated up slower. Just by sitting on my menu screen brings it to 100. I'm starting to think my water cooler broke. But would like to know for sure if it is the cooler. I've tried to see if I mounted it on incorrectly but it's on correctly. Also the fans on it are spinning as fast as possible to. I'm I suppose to hear the water running through the tubes of my cooler? Because I'm not. I'm not sure if the base broke or if it's the tubes.
