Hey guys, I just performed a benchmark test on my PC from UserBenchmark and I have some questions. Can someone explain why the Boot Drive section is red? why are my RAM unknown?
And if you have time, can you drop a few tips about my setup, how to improve, tips on maintenance, and things to look out for in the future.
Thanks!
(P.S. I use my PC for mainly games and typical web surfing, movies, youtube etc. not much of a downloader unless its steam games)

UserBenchmarks: Game 108%, Desk 72%, Work 56%
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K - 96.5%
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080 - 130.6%
HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2012) - 96.3%
RAM: Unknown F4-2400C15-8GVR 0420 DDR4 2400 2OZ 0420 F4-2400C15-8GVR 0420 DDR4 2400 2OZ 24GB - 83.2%
MBD: MSI Z170A GAMING PRO (MS-7984)

It is red because your boot drive is a HDD not a SSD. SSD's are great for boot drives because they are very fast. I recommend you get one not just for this scores things but in general even a small 120-250GB one is enough to put Windows and your Software on for super fast boot times and snappy Windows loading. The rest of your PC is solid for a Gaming build. RAM would be unknown because obviously they have never had many of that kit on the site before and have not put it in the list, doesn't mean anything is wrong with your RAM kit. Hope this helps :)

*Edit* Your score would probably be much better if you didn't have so much CPU background usage as the benchmark says. Apparently you had 85% background usage during the benchmark.

Do you know any threads or sites that can help me sort out my task manager to get my background usage lower? Thanks for info Champ!!

My task manager, under Performance tab, states that my CPU is running at 3-4% at 4.06GHz; that's with this thread and SOA season 2 opened. Thinking of lowering to 3.5 GHz for the summer. Is it possible that the test artificially boosted the CPU usage or there is actually too much CPU usage going on?
