Is Corsair VS550 enough for my PC?

My Build:
Intel core i7 6700k (non-overclocked)
Gigabite B150M DDR4 motherboard
2x8 Gb Kingston HyperX DDR4
PSU: Corsair VS550
GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 4GB (factory overclocked)

1. Is this power supply enough and is it safe?
2. I've heard that Corsair VS series has one of the least durable capacitors. How much life can I expect out of it?
3. If I want to overclock (both the cpu and the gpu), which PSU should I buy?

1. It's enough, but It's a low quality PSU unit = User takes a risk.
2. Unknown. Maybe 4 years, maybe 2 years, maybe 6 months or perhaps even less. As said before, It's a risk.
3. Decent examples are the SeaSonic M12II/S12G/G series, Corsair Vengeance M/RMx/RMi series, EVGA B2/G2/GS/G3 series.

Which i7-6700 are you on? The i7-6700K or the i7-6700? If the former then you should be buying a Z170 motherboard. As far as the PSU is concerned, you will need to buy something of more higher quality, more like closer to Tier 1.

You will need at least 500W but add more wattage to the number for longevity and headroom. Your information is conflicting, that B150 motherboard will not allow you to overclock even if you had an i7-6700K.

FYI, we don't know what sort of units you have access to since regions will have a difference in product availability.

I haven't overclocked yet but may do in the coming years. For that I'd be changing my motherboard as well as my power supply. Which PSU should I buy? and should I buy it when I plan on overclocking my CPU or buy it right away?
