Once in every two or three times I boot my computer (which boots from an SSD) my HDD is not detected. I have tried replacing the SATA cable, unplugging and plugging back in the power cable and using a different SATA port on the motherboard, all to no avail.

I saw on another similar question that someone fixed this issue by giving the BIOS more time to detect the HDD on startup (changed from 0ms to 25ms). How would I go about doing this? My BIOS shows "MSI Military Class" if this helps identify the brand.

I'm really hoping this doesn't mean I need a new HDD, as all components in the computer are only 6 months old!
