In search of AMD Freesync monitor screen users

Hi everyone!
First of all, I am wondering if this technology support HDMI connection as the monitor I'm gonna buy has no displayport. ( as I know, HDMI has only 60 hz )
Secondly, what is the least amount of frames this technology supports? According to AMD official website, it contains from 30 to 75 FPS ( or more, depends on monitor frequency )
I mean the space where freesync really works.
So, if it is the truth, will I not be able to differentiate the difference between 60 and 30 FPS?
Is the picture too smooth employing this technology?
I've got the AMD graphic card.

There is a standard for freesync over HDMI -> https://www.amd.com/Documents/freesync-hdmi.pdf

Although the monitor would need to list that freesync works on the HDMI port too. This should be more prevalent with the new HDMI standard that was released recently and any monitor's that support it.

I believe freesync only works with display port, you also have to have a freesync enabled monitor, it will not work with any old monitor. And the framerates freesync will work within depend on the freesync monitor, most commonly 48hz to 144hz, though it differs I linked a list below.

You will certainly be able to tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps even if your monitors freesync supports down to 30hz, why do you think you wouldn't be able to? Freesync matches your monitors refresh rate to the fps your pc is spitting out, so if your game is running at 30fps the monitor will run at 30hz this eliminates tearing and some stuttering but will not make 30fps feel like 60fps. It will feel smoother than 30fps without freesync, but it's still 30fps.

Yes, of course I did not mean I will have 60 FPS instead of 30 :D but anyway 30 FPS will be more smooth than without.
Well, what about displayport? Is it better to use one than HDMI?
In my country, the monitors with DP cost much more expensive than the ones without DP.
( Of course I mean the monitors support this technology )

The cable is not really important assuming it supports the resolution, refresh rate of your monitor, and freesync. HDMI that supports for example 1440p 144hz would be the same as display port that supports 1440p 144hz, both digital signals. What monitors are you looking at?
