High spec PC, but still getting low fps.

My Specs:
GTX 1070
AMD FX-8350 4.0 GHz
8 GB GSkill Sniper RAM
750 W Power Supply

Hi, I think I have a pretty good PC, but I do not exceed 40 fps in most games. I think it's my RAM. I'm going to buy another stick, but it that's not the problem I would love someones input. Thanks!

Name a few of the games you're getting low fps in. While 16GB is slowly becoming more the norm, 8Gb is still very adequate for gaming. I'm more concerned about pairing a FX-8350 (bottlenecked by even the GTX 1060 and RX 480) with a GTX 1070. The new line of PENTIUM processors provide better (theoretical) performance.
