So, an year ago I had an issue with my AMD fx8120, and some people helped me.
This is a 5 years old, and now it's overheating. I wanna change to Intel, so I also need a new motherboard.
Right now, my computer is:
ASUS M5A78L-M USB3*
Geforce 950 GTX 950 SC
Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz DDR3 x2
AMD FX 8120 Black Edition
CORSAIR Watercooling Hydro Series (Not sure what model exactly)
CORSAIR CX 600 power source
*Which doesn't really go along with my CPU, someone told me it's structure could indeed overhead with my CPU.
So, first I thought, maybe I coulkd go with a fx6300, it's cheap and not tha tbad, my GF has one and her computer runs some games smoothly. Maybe my Mobo would go along with that one.
Also I found a "Processador AMD FX 8300 Octa Core, Black Edition, Cache 16MB, 3.3GHz (4.2GHz Max Turbo) AM3+ FD8300WMHKBOX" for almost the same price.
But then thought some people say Intel is a bit more expansive but cooler and faster.
Then I found this:
"Processador Intel Core i3-7100 Kaby Lake 7ª Geração, Cache 3MB 3,9GHz LGA 1151 Intel HD Graphics BX80677I37100"
Is it worth going for a i3? What mobo would go along with that? What about "Placa-Mãe GIGABYTE p/ Intel LGA 1150 mATX GA-B85M-D3PH, DDR3, HDMI 4K, DVI, DualBIOS, SATA 6Gb/s , USB 3.0"? I'm a bit short on money, so I'm going for cheap stuff, but I can't stand having my computer turning off during games or sometimes, even when I'm watching some Netflix or HBO GO.
