I was told to recover my computer to the factory setting because of a virus I received. I had done this my other computer without a disk. NOW, I can't get in it. I see the TOSHIBA LEADING INNOVATION picture then a black screen that tells me that it is not bootable. My computer does not have a Serial / Model number to be found. I cannot locate a recovery disk. PLEASE, TELL ME YOU CAN HELP ME TO GET MY COMPUTER WORKING.

1. Download the correct ISO from Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows8
2. Burn iso to DVD.
3. Insert the DVD in the broken computer then shut it down.
3. Constantly press F12, F9, or ESC at startup. You will have to try each one until you see a menu.
4. A boot menu will appear, select the DVD drive with the Windows installation.
5. Proceed with the Windows installation. (Note: if you want to keep your files, install on existing OS partition without deleting any)
6. Activation should start automatically when you connect to the internet. On newer PCs, the product key is no longer included because it is embedded in the BIOS.
