Can my motherboard support any AMD processor? Or it's just intel processor?

So right now i was trying to change my processor on my motherboard

Can i use any amd processors for my motherboard because intel processors are expensive and im on a low budget.Pls hlp thankss!!!
(p.s; is there any processor for gaming+low price [around $100-$150] that suits my motherboard? pls recommend ty)

That board only supports socket 1155 Intel cpus. Good chance you could find a used socket 1155 i5 maybe even an i7 in that budget range.

if you click on "support" on the link you provided it gives you a list of all the CPUs that will work with that motherboard.

Intel & AMD CPUs are not cross compatible.

What cpu do you now have?
What will this pc be used for? Gaming or application processing?

No, amd processors require a different motherboard.
And... the reason AMD is cheaper is because they are not as capable for gamers. OK for apps.

The strongest cpu your motherboard can support is a I7-3770K@3.5
It requires bios level f3 on your motherboard.

I think a uded cpu is safe ineough if you follow precautions.

1. Know your prices.
Look for the item in used condition on ebay, then filter on completed auctions.
In green, you will see what the item actually sold for.
2. Buy only from a seller wit good feedback and a fair amount of history.
3. Pay only with paypal. Ebay will side with you the buyer in case of a dispute and they can recoup a paypak payment if needed.

Buying used is perfectly ok, while not the same socket, I just picked up a i7 980x for an older socket 1366 motherboard and am in the process of overclocking it. Right now its at 4.47Ghz with 1.31v. Intel's price when new was $1059.00 and I picked it up for $125 on ebay granted its a 7 year old CPU but it still gets the job done.

In the event that you need a newer bios, you download it for free directly from the gigabytw web site on downloads for your motherboard.
If you are already at f3, do not update the bios on speculation; a failed update can permanently render your motherboard useless.
One bit of advice on flashing... patience.
It will look like nothing is going on, but do not stop the process.
