I don't know if this my graphics card, but my HP ProBook 450 G3's i5 is exceeding temperatures of 90 degrees when playing high end games like GTA V. I know very well that the CPU is supposed to get hot, but, 90 degrees? It seems overheating to me already and it seems a lot to me. Please suggest me what I should do now. Any feedback is appreciated.

Specs:
i5 6600K
8 GB DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeon R7 M340 and Intel HD 530 Switchable GFX.
1 TB HDD
*Plus other stuff like the usb and shit...
Temps measured by CoreTemp

Yup It cannot be the 6600k. I am using an i5 - 5200u and it goes to about 87 degrees while gaming so hey It is normal. You can try to keep it on a raised platform with space cut out for the vents below it. It improves air flow as it is raised and the space for the vents allow air to get out from the bottom. That's what I have done and it really helps just sit in a ventilated room. It really depends how you keep the laptop and always at least clean the outer dust which has accumulated on the laptop. So that the least goes inside the laptop. Now my temps are about 75-80 after I have made that raised platform.

The 450 G3 either has an i5-6200U or i5-6500U, not a 6600K.

Laptops run warmer than their desktop counterparts (generally).

The TJunction for either the 6200U or 6500U is 100'C (temp at the die) - which I believe, is what CoreTemp monitors.

Therefore, you're still in 'safe' temps (but only just). I assume your CPU utilization is close to 100% when you're seeing these temps?
