This is a follow up to my last about the 1050 and 1050ti. So now know that the ti version is better, does any of AMD's 400 series gpus, preform better for the cost?

System specs:
Pentium g4620 (got it on a deal)
ROG Strix H270 gaming ATX
Thermaltake 500w smart 80+ bronze PSU
Ram not bought yet, (either 8gb or 16gb, does the extra 8gb really help??)

Trying not to exceed $600

If you are looking towards GTX 1050 Ti/RX 470 territory definitely the RX 470. Usually a fraction more in price but well worth the extra ~30% Performance. The rest of your build looks decent and yes 16GB RAM is well worth it for Gaming and any Workstation tasks, 8GB is starting to push the boundaries now and it will only get higher. Any reason you got a expesnsive H270 board with a Pentium? I assume you plan to upgrade it later to an i5/i7? Hope this helps :)

I was leaning towards the 1050ti/Rx 470 area. They were quite similar in price, but did not know different they preform. I got the Mobo as a gift, look great and have cool features, was going to get the b250 mortar for MSI. Hopefully yes, later this year I can upgrade to an i5. Thanks for the help!
