This system crash happens when I'm playing "Playerunknown's Battleground" The game is still in beta and is poorly optimized. The game is probably more CPU intensive as I only notice a slight difference in FPS. When the setting are set to low, I can play the game for 10 min max. If it's Medium settings, it crashes instantly.

However, when I switched back to my old GTX 670FTW, there were no issues. I don't understand what is going on. I just ordered a new PSU as I think that is the problem, but wondering if anyone else has some other input.

I will report back if the PSU solves the problem just in case other people have the same issues.

This could be it actually. I just noticed my GPU fans weren't running, but when I turn on the "Precision X Tool" and then set to "Aggressive Fan", the fans started going. I've done this before, however when I reboot the computer, it never seems to remember to run the fans. I will try playing the game again and will report back.

90% sure that is the solution. Been playing on high settings and system has not shut down. You sir are a genius (or maybe I am just stupid, haha)
If anything else comes up, I'll reply to the thread again.

Well unfortunately I was running the game on high settings and everything seemed fine. 20 min later, my system reboots. GPU fans were running fine too. This did last longer than before though. Back to square 1

That gpu has an eco switch where the fans won't turn on until the gpu reaches @65°C, then they jump in hard. Should be a way to turn that off. I'd also run MSI Kombuster through its paces and watch to see what happens with the temps (there's an onscreen graph). Evga has had some reports of overheating issues lately so you might have gotten a lemon. You could also try undervolting and lowering memory speeds, if that results in better stability, you got a lemon for sure.

The problem was my PSU. Turns out the cables weren't supplying enough power. Although they had and 8 pin connector going into the PSU, there were only 6 wires coming out of the pins from the PSU. Rather weird. Anyways, glad I solved it. Thanks for the help though, got some good tips from this.
