I absolutely love the aesthetics of the Prodigy M and have considered building my first decent pc in it for a while, before now my only PCs have been corporate workstations that I've frankenstein'd and maybe slapped in an SSD for speed, I have no experience at all with higher end components. Over the past few months I have assembled a build and decided on a few attributes I want.

Requirements:
Prodigy M
mATX Motherboard (Of Course)
AMD Processor- for the price, unless you have an intel option that would work
Able to run GTA V level games, hopefully Sid Meir's Civilization VI

My Current Build I've Strung Together :

AMD FX-8350
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
ASRock 970M PRO3 Micro ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard
Kingston HyperX Fury White 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Asus GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Dual Video Card

BitFenix Prodigy M Arctic White MicroATX Mini Tower Case
BitFenix Whisper M 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
3x Bitfenix Spectre Pro PWM Case Fans-120mm (1 for CPU Cooler aesthetics, 2 for case)
1x Bitfenix Specte Pro PWM Case Fan-140mm (Rear Exhaust)
Gelid Solutions 1 to 4 PWM PC Case Fan Splitter Cable (mATX only have 1 or 2 case fan headers

I need a lot of help on this build, my current cooling plan was to place two intake fans at the top of the case with the 1 140mm exhaust fan at the rear, I think this is the best airflow option but i am absolutely no expert and would love tweaks and alternatives. As well I would setup the CPU cooler to pull out toward the back exhaust fan. I've also heard that an 140mm rear exhaust fan in this case is rediculously efficient so I'm pretty set on that decision

Is the fx-8350 overkill for the CPU? Would an fx-6300 or 6350 be more realistic, I do medium amounts of editing in sony vegas and would like to do more plus Civ VI is a pretty cpu intensive game I've heard.

What Motherboard would be best for this build, it seems that there aren't that many AM3+ mATX motherboards out there, another one I was looking at would be the Asus M5A78L-M PLUS, but I've heard mixed reviews on that one as well, keep in mind I don't plan to overclock, I just want a solid board that will last me. More info, I do have a soundcard to put in, I think I'll have enough slots and enough room for it but still nothings for sure!

Nothing in this build is final, I've probably changed everything in this build at least 3 times except for the case, This is also my first time using this forum so I apologize if I'm doing anything wrong,

Any and all help is requested, basically just tell me if I'm doing something dumb!

I do plan to run Windows 7 64bit on this pc, because I like it and I dont feel like buying a newer os, so that's a limitation as well.

Solution
Don't go with the fx-series. It's basically an archaic skeleton now, as it's single core performance is very week. An intel i5 will outperform them. If you want AMD, go with Ryzen 5/7, much better budget options.

-You don't need 16 gigs of RAM for GTA V.
-I'm working on the fans thing... 16 per fan seems excessive.
-RX 480 destroys the 1050 ti in games.

The fans cost 16 dollars each because they are high cfm and are PWM

I believe the NZXT fans I slapped in fit both of those requirements.

I think I'll wait for ryzen 5 to drop instead of going for an i5, but thanks for the tip on the GPU
