[Partially Solved?] After a couple weeks, system will no longer boot (provides zero activity)

I've just built a new PC to replace my previous build, and after two-three weeks my PC will no longer turn on at all, I've also followed the checklist stickied at the top of this board, now that I've reached the end I'm not sure where to go next.

My specs:

MSI z270 (mobo)
Intel i7-7700k
NVIDIA GTX 1070 SC
16 GB DDR4 3000Mhz memory

The only activity on my motherboard are the two red LEDs that light up regardless if the system is "turned on" or not, just needs to be connected to the power supply (they are visible as normal)

I've tried checking if the power switch on my case is broken, but it doesn't seem to be the case because if I try to jump the power switch pins on the mobo nothing happens. I've checked the power supply using a multimeter to read the output voltage, and I clear a 3.98-4.0V on each pin. I'm also able to jump my power supply and turn the PSU fan on.

I've tried disconnecting all non-essentials (GPU, left one RAM module, etc) but to no avail, still no boot or any response whatsoever. I can't decide if the issue is due to the motherboard or processor, unfortunately I don't have another processor that matches the sock type on my mobo to test with.

Edit: I haven't changed anything, I left my PC unplugged for a couple hours and then I decided to try again, and now it randomly works, without even changing anything. I even tried a different PSU earlier which didn't provide any response as well. Now that my PC works, what may have caused it to randomly not boot or provide any response? Might be a bit too vague to provide an answer, but it's extremely strange that every thing works now, I just hope that I won't have intermittent availability in the future. I also tried different outlets as well, but I can confirm it wasn't an issue with the outlet because other electronics were using the same outlets without any issues.

I'm assuming you have already removed the CMOS battery but nothing changed.

What's the make and model of your PSU? You have to put in a spare power supply to see if that is the issue (borrow from a friend or local shop).

If the new power supply doesn't work, the issue is likely with your mobo. Processors do not typically fail.
