Will an EVGA G2 650w be enough for my overclocked 4770k @ 4.3Ghz & OC'd 1080 Ti?

I hear the G2 is more or less silent, whereas my XFX 850W XXX black edition is rather noisy under gaming load.

Solution

The G2 and P2 have hybrid fan modes, I am not sure about the RM650x, hybrid fan keeps the fan off except under heavy loads. All 3 are quiet you really can't go wrong with any of them.
It should be OK. The only component to be concerned about is the graphics card. The GTX 1080 Ti has a system requirement of 600 watts.

I would expect both power supplies to be quiet. But , I can recommend the Seasonic Platinum power supplies for being very quiet. I have one (860 Watt).

650w is more than enough and thats an excellent PSU. You could run a 550 G2 and be fine.

If you are so bold. You could always replace the PSU fan in your current PSU. Perhaps with a quiet Noctua NF fan. Be sure to take proper precautions as some of those capacitors can be storing a high voltage charge.

This system draws 410w with an i7-6700K at 4.6Ghz and a GTX 1080 Ti OC.

The 1080 Ti draws about 280w default. A regular OC might add another 30W.

4.3Ghz is a fairly mild overclock. I'd expect the CPU, Motherboard, RAM and hard drives to draw at most 150W. At standard clock rates the i7-4770K draws about 115w at load including motherboard, RAM and hard drive. At 4.6/4.7Ghz the same would draw about 35W higher.

Power Difference between 3.5Ghz and 4.7Ghz: https://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2013/06/01/intel-core-i7-4770k-cpu-review/7

I'd expect a system draw in the 425W to 450W range under load with overclocking.
