Hi, a problem here, with my new gtx 1050ti 4gb oc single fan. I got it and since they installed it im getting lower fps that my other graphics card (Radeon r7 series 360). I was supposed to get 80-100 fps on high setting on rainbow six siege, but with my last graphics card i got 60-70 fps in low settings. Now with this graphics card im getting 10-30 fps, in low settings. Its unplayable. I need help

I think I already have the latest driver of amd's software deleted, and if I dont, how do i check? I opened NVIDIA Experience and it says I have the latest driver

Did you check to see if the NVIDIA Experience software (installs when you install drivers from their website usually) has optimized your games? If it did it, it does it to all games installed that it recognizes. It balances quality and performance to try and hit a decent FPS while still maintaining good quality, which could result in the drop in FPS. What settings did you run CSGO at, for example? All lowest, medium? What are they at now?

And no problem!

I wouldn't use NGE as it IMHO doesn't optimize games very well. Uninstall the NGE and the Nvidia 3D drivers (you don't need them) from the control panel. When downloading the newest drivers instead of picking express installation pick custom and only download the Graphics Driver, PhysX Driver & HD Audio. Then use the same resolution/settings you had when you used the R7 360 and check the performance.

If you go into the GeForce Experience, and you see all your games with little green checkmarks on their top right corners, that means it's optimized them all. If they're gray, or it hasn't listed any of your games, then it's not optimizing/hasn't discovered your games. Try disabling it on CSGO to test, and set CSGO to your own settings you had it on before the GPU switch.

Any model of GTX 1050 Ti would beat a r7 360. There's got to be something either wrong with the drivers, the card, or the settings.

-Are you sure you didn't accidentally (hey, I've done it before) plug the monitor into your motherboard's display output instead of the graphics card's?
-Did you uninstall the AMD/Radeon drivers and restart the machine?

I have it plugged in my gpu with the hdmi cable and I restarted my computer as soon as it said that the remaining amd things had been uninstalled.

A friend has the same card except its double fanned and it has the red color surrounding the ventilators, and he runs rainbow six siege at 90-110 fps while I in LOW settings run it at 10-30 fps (mine is single fanned)

It would work as long as the card is correctly working however if you have a defective card then no driver update will fix it. You would need to return the card and get a working model.
