I just built a computer, connected all the LED's and peripherals, including the motherboard and CPU to the PSU, but it won't turn on.

Here's a video of some of the wired connections: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SP7xg5jSLeI

Maybe the CPU ain't connected properly to the motherboard? the first 8 pin cable in the video, it connects to the CPU through the motherboard?.

Parts:
CPU: i7 6700k
Mobo: Gigabyte z170 hd3p
AMD R9 280x
PSU Corsair Gold 650
Corsair Vengeance 16 GB 2100mhz
Corsair h100 v2

Everything looked okay in the video. Just make sure those motherboard and cpu cables are fully seated. After that if it doesn't work it could be a bad PSU or a faulty motherboard. It's hard to tell from our end.

Thanks for the replies. I checked again today to see if all cables are secure, they are. Video card does need power, though I disconnected it right now to test if the computer launches, no luck launching the computer so far.

Only thing I did notice was that I missed to add the system speaker, though that wouldn't aid me much in this case anyway. All power connectors are in place. Could it be possible that I bent the CPU pins even though it slid directly on the mobo socket? I mean I did held it and push it a little bit when socketing it, though it did fit perfectly.

It ain't the PSU's fault, I tested it before building the computer. Stripped it from my old computer and it worked.
