Hey guys, does 720p looks better on a 1080p native monitor than 720p on 900p native monitor?

i have a 1600x900 native resolution, but 720p looks blurry and i feel sleepy playing games, haha, so if i have a 1080p, will it at least look better or worst?

by the way, my 1600x900 monitor is 20inches (Acer P205H), and the 1080p monitor should be 23inches. (Asus VC239H)

It's not so simple. The quality of the monitor affects this. The game you're playing affects this. That's not even mentioning that 'looks better' and 'blurry' can mean different things to different people.

I have a 1080p monitor and have run games at 720p on it. It's acceptable in games where small details are unimportant. If you're trying to snipe someone from far away, you need the sharpness and detail of native resolution. If all the game elements are relatively large onscreen, sharpness and detail doesn't matter so much.
