Where can I find packaging stuff for transporting GTX 1050ti?

So I am going back to Ethiopia for summer. I want to take my PC with me. I have the case box and can ship everything. I saw a video that recommended that I take out the graphics card because it could potentially break.(Especially on an international flight.) I have got rid of the box for the 1050ti and non conductive sleeve. Where can i find replacements?

a standard card board box with packing peanuts is ample protection. but an anti-static bag like it came in is ideal when using the peanuts as they are very static prone.

if you have a large cpu cooler, it is also suggested you remove that so it does not move around much.

with that said,
you can actually using packing foam to tightly pack the inside of the case with everything still attached if you wish. will keep parts from moving around during shipping and prevent the need for extra boxes. i have done this myself to ship pc's and not had any problems with the method. but do pack it nice and tight.

upon arrival, you'll want to go over everything to be sure nothing shifted or came lose during the flight. ram likes to back out of the slots pretty often in my experience.

here is a good video showing how to go about packing it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMffTpGKBdc

I have shipped three PCs across the US with big GPUs in them. What I do is stuff the case with antistatic bubblewrap so nothing can shift. I usually line the top and bottom of the GPU with cardboard and then stuff the antistatic wrap all around it until it is flush with the top of the case. Just be careful not to put so much in there that it is pushing your GPU one way or the other. Just enough so it can't move.

Yeah I essentially do the same thing but with antistatic bubblewrap instead. That stuff can be expensive though. Maybe I will try the packing foam next time.

Here's a question:

If you buy a prebuilt PC (Dell, CyberPower, whoever), that has a large GPU installed...how is it shipped and delivered?
Do they ship the GPU in a different box and make you install it? No.
You take the PC out of the box, plug it in...it works.

But if you want to take the GPU out...go down to your local UPS or Fedex store. They will have sufficient packaging (anti static bags, etc) to ship it safely.

yah local mail store is where to get that stuff, though walmart and the like tend to carry some of it as well.

pretty sure fedex/mailroom stores have the air filled bags but i know they have the packing foam. newspaper would also work as noted above if you find the other options to be too expensive or impossible to find.

Yes, it is likely he could just ship the whole thing in the case's box without any problems. I wouldn't suggest using the US Postal Service, though. Use FedX or UPS and possibly insure the system if you are worried.
