I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I also am not sure where else to ask.
Lately my phone has been acting up in relation to my battery charge. At first, my phone would seem to discharge faster than normal and I was finding myself charging it more often. Now, however, I have a bigger problem. Whenever my battery goes below the 60-50% mark, the phone will freeze and restart. Once it does so, the phone reboots, but shows a MUCH lower battery percentage (around 15% usually). When I plug the device in to charge, after a few minutes, it shows the original percentage of 50-60%. Without the phone plugged in at this battery level, I cannot use my phone without it rebooting every 3 seconds.
Could this could be some type of software problem, or is my battery the issue? I have done some research on battery failure but am still not sure. Any help is greatly appreciated.
