OK I may sound like a Noob for asking this but I recently built a new PC using an X99 based Mobo and DDR4 RAM. I chose memory from the QVA list for my motherboard and actually bought a 4x8GB Quad channel kit from G.Skill as opposed to the 2x16GB Dual channel kit I originally wanted ( I planned to add 3 more 2x16GB kits in the future ) to ensure that all my RAM would play nice and was certified to work together. My problem is since my build I've been having noting but stability problems with the rig, from blue screens, to random reboots... The blue screens were solved when I ran the Mobo's auto overclocking utility, but now my computer seems to reeboot whenever its dormant for a period of time. Also my RAM isnt running as fast as its spec'd for no matter what I try so since I've not much experience with DDR4 ( last build was on DDR3 and an i5 chip ) and NO experience with X99 or it's memry settings, Im looking for some help. My Specs are as follows...

Intel i7-6800k
Asus ROG STRIX X99 GAMING
Asus STRIX GTX1070 OC
G.Skill 32GB (4x8) PC3200 DDR4 SDRAM F4-3200C16Q-32GTZB
MyDigital SSD BPX 480GB PCI-E NVMe SSD
Seagate 3TB 7200rpm HDD
Corsair H115i Liquid Cooler
Corsair Hx850i PSU
Corsair 780t Full Tower Case
LG Blu Ray Burner
LG 55" 4k TV
7x140mm Corsair Fans for Cooling ( 2 front, 1 Rear, 4 on Water Cooler-Push Pull Config )

In essence you can drop in any ram kit into the platform so long as it conforms to the quad channel load out. If you want to upgrade your ram, please do so with a matched kit, i.e, the exact identical kit. So that means, if you want all eight slots to be populated, you need to go for 4x 2x16GB kits or 2x 4x8GB kits.

Now have you made sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date? Which BIOS version are you on currently? Does the reboot happen while you're within BIOS?
If so you may want to keep an eye on the PSU. You might also want to run memtest86 for at least 10 passes to rule out faulty memory. Are you on Windows 10?

Based off the product's spec page the ram timings are 16-18-18-38-2N at 3200MHz operating at 1.35v. Manually input that value within BIOS and see if your stability returns.

Did you build the system by yourself? You sure you didn't end up with bent/broken CPU socket pins?

The kit Im using now is a quad channel kit, Im currently running the latest BIOS build 1504 from ASUS Global site. Ive run memtest for 4 passes without incident several times ( ill try 10 pass next ) and no th reboots dont happen in BIOS they're in windows ( Win 10 Pro x64 OEM Licence, Legitimately purchased not a pirated copy ), I did build th system myself bu there are no bent or broken pins I used th included CPU installation tool and this is approx my 12th personal build. I also used to work as a Tech at CompUSA when it was a brick and mortar store about 16 years ago. Im A+, Net+, and CNP Certified, I know my way around th guts and software of a computer Its just these new Quad Channel DDR4 X99 builds Ive never had experience with before... Also the system only reboots when idle, when I switch my TVs input to the built in apps ( NETFLIX, YOUTUBE, ETC. ) for a while, or I go out of the house for a period... I come back and my lock screen is on and everything needs to reload again ( all my startup programs )... Its stable while in use! My power management is set to high performance with the monitor shut off at 15 mins of inactivity, and the system set to never sleep or hibernate.
