"tiering" PSUs is not really something that makes a lot of sense.
also tier lists rate a bit edgy sometimes -
for example a unit that has great voltage control and offers good performance and has a modular design but uses crappy caps and bad soldering would be tiered the same as a unit with alright voltage control, solid performanace maybe a louder fan but quality interior components and long durability.
if you look at the old Tom's Tier List for example, the old Corsair RM is tiered the same as a XFX XTR although the XTR is bottom line way superior, so I don't go for Tier lists. in the Tier list, both units would be Tier 2
the difference between those units is, the Edison M is based on a Seasonic design and Seasonic is known for it's excellent build quality and reliability
as for the Earthwatts, it's though to find an actual review about the Earthwatts Gold. This line has been around for ages and was in the beginning made by Seasonic as well, later on by Delta who are less reputable, the Earthwatts Gold is made by FSP who are not too bad but not spectacular.
this particular unit is based on the FSP Aurum, which is decent but unless they got an update recently can't really compete with the Edison M/Seasonic G (worse regulation, group regulated)
from that store, the Edison M represents the best value/performance/quality rating
