I cant download the latest nvidia driver

I have been trying to download the latest Nvidia driver for the past 2 days but no luck. I have tried to download it from Nvidia Geforce experience i get this message "This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware" i have tried to install it manually, for some reason it only installs Nvidia Geforce experience not the driver. http://imageshack.com/a/img924/1019/BxNjcl.jpg

Certain Asus notebook models were removed from this driver release due to a brightness control issue. More details and a full list available below:

If you're using one of these models, then this is what is probably going on. Basically we're stuck until they release another driver update.
