Nintendo switch problem

I recently got a Nintendo Switch. I can't figure out how to get the "lever" out to get to tabletop mode. It seems stuck.

I've owned a switch since launch and its probably the worst feature.

I usually dig my nail into the soft rubber "foot" and pull it outwards. The thing is flimsy and cheap but will open if you are firm but careful.

Worst case scenario is your pop the whole stand out of the system, this doesn't mean its broke, it clips back on.

It gets a little looser after a few goes.

How are you finding it otherwise?
