AMD FX-4350 quad core precessor 4.20 GHz
Thankyou. ☺

It's not 'pretty bad'. You could always be at a worse spot i.e. single core AMD processor..

However, what type of things are you going to be doing with your computer? Some insight behind this question is, if you are wanting to play forceful games such as Battlefield and or other heavy intensive games than that would depend on your budget for your build. I can recommend numerous graphics cards but without some insite on your budget and or what you want to do with it.

For the memory you generally want at least a 2x4GB (8GB Ram) on your PC to run normal programs and or games. For some reference, Windows 10 needs at least 2GB to run. So at idle your running usually at 1.9-2.2GB. While running games such as CS:GO it never uses more than...

If you are video editing and or doing higher work, I'd recommend a solid 16GB at least.

NOTE: I've found that sometimes websites will have sales on 16GB kits and if that is the case go with more if the prices are nearly the same why not.

What is your current gpu and ram?
Make/model of your psu?

If you have 8gb of ram, you likely will not benefit from more, or faster.
On the gpu, your potential upgrade may be limited by your psu capability.

Regardless the FX cores are weak and the line is a dead end.
Do not throw good money after bad.
A graphics card upgrade is ok because it can easily be moved to a more capable cpu/motherboard/ram.

For memory, the memory controller handles up to 1866 MHz at stock settings. 8GB (2X4GB sticks) is the least you should get if you are planing on gaming if you use Ram intensive programs like Photoshop and Auto CAD go for 16GB (2X8GB sticks)

As for a GPU your CPU will hold you back quite a bit so to fully utilize the GPU either a GTX 1050 or an RX 460. If you choose to do a little future proofing you can go more powerful but teh power really wont be used till you upgrade the CPU.

IF you are interested in a 6 core FX cpu I know of one cheap, used though but holds a 4.7GHz overclock.

Could we get a full system report? We need your PSU (make and model), your current RAM, your current GPU, and whether or not you have a particularly small case, so the case as well. We can't help you too much til' we know that.
