So im planning to buy the 1050 ti but i dont really know if the gpu will fit the MS-7778 (JasmineR) or if it will hit the ram slot / capacitors between the 2 pci slots and if the MS-7778 (JasmineR) would even recognize the gpu it did ship with win 8 but is currently running on win 7 ( i want to update to win10 but i dont know if thats possible )

gpu i have in mind : http://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N105TOC-4GD#kf
my pc (only found it in german) : https://support.hp.com/de-de/product/hp-pavilion-500-200-desktop-pc-series/5399647/model/6878458/document/c04117659
Bios:
Brand AMI
Version 80.48
Date 15.01.2014

Solution
12 amps is 144w ?? most 1050ti are 75w cards depending on the model

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3381592/gtx-1050-75w.html

the gigabyte he listed above don't seem to have a extra 6 or 8 pin from the psu so its a 75w card 75w / 12v = 6.25 amps required

[System Requirements Recommended PSU: 300W]

1) You will need a new PSU, because the HP 300W may not power the gtx1050ti up. You can try it first, if it can't, buy one like this
Power Supply: XFX ProSeries 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£48.46 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £48.46
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

2) When you install the non-OEM GPU in HP PC, you should try find the BIOS to see the 80.48 is newer one or not, because you may or may not need to update the BIOS for the gtx1050ti.

3) Make sure read this from HP support first, because it is little bit tricky to install the non-OEM GPU into the HP PC.

1: The psu should be ok else i would unplug my cd-drive because im mainly digital
3: Because i am currently in Windows 7 i already disabled Secure Boot so i could switch from 8.1 to 7 ( i might try to install the gpu with windows 7 then switch to 10 after )
bios shows:

I just hope that the gpu would fit

some models of store bought computers [dell.hp,acer,ect..] may come with a ''locked or fixed'' / legacy or uefi bios and may not allow you to change certain hardware as a video card.. this is done to protect them from undue warranty claims and refunds .this is not done to hurt you but to protect them. you really need to see if that upgrade has been proven to work in your model first before you invest money in it .. there are a lot of these threads here at toms to look at some models will allow upgrades and some dont.. and a lot of guys here say ya ya ya when is really no no no...it would be sad you spent $200 on a card that won't post after you installed it as most find out. then get told its your psu and you spend more and end up right back where you are now, but its up to you good luck..

you got to know the boards in these computers are not like the ones we use to do custom builds witch are open to upgrading with in the boards compatibly . the bios is custom made for there design and just for the parts they authorize to be used on there computers there only guaranteed to work as is out of the box as you bought it ,..

also these boards do not have to meet atx standards and there pci-e slot power may not do the required 75w needed for most higher end cards and can be limited to say 45 or 60w that is all thats needed with the low end factory oem cards that it may of shipped with
[example]
http://en.community.dell.com/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/3514/1030.DESKTOP.jpg

in the end any upgrade you do is all your own risk . the prebuilt manufactures only guarantees there computers work as sold to you as is out of the box from there factory with what they put on it , not a drop more

there in business to sell you whole ready to go computers , and dont worry about you upgrading them or giving you support to do so . thats not how they make there money they prefer you run to wal-mart and buy there ''better'' latest models

i'll bet if you go to hp forums on your model and see that the HP bios used may not support any NVidia cards over 600 series maybe 750ti at best if the card got a legacy/uefi switch on it like here

''Pros:
Legacy switch! I don't know why this isn't advertised more but for someone using a HP computer running a legacy bios this card is my savior. Even under pressure it seems to handle mostly everything I throw at it plus it's quiet and affordable''

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127783

if your HP shipped withn windows 8 or above then you do or should have uefi bios and then you need to check secure boot that can prevent a card from working

if win-7 or below ???? well good luck on that [legacy bios only ]

So i found out that it does support UEFI ( HP says if it shipped with win 8 it does support UEFI and in the BIOS it has the Secure boot option )
And next to the PCIe x16 it doesnt say that its limited so ill have to assume that it isnt locked. ( i saw some posts that said they could upgrade without any problems )

And the gpu should fit ill just have to move a few cables.

Yeah , I went and measured the size and it would be a super close fit and i would have to move cables.
I will take a single fan instead i wont overclock (only factory overclock) anyway never done it never will so 1 Fan should be enough

My Pc n cable management : http://imgur.com/a/pA963
I cant really decide which one would be better performance wise

https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GTX-1050-Ti-4G-OC.html#hero-specification
I think the EVGA one would be better because of the Core Clock but im not that much into overclocking and i think gigabyte would be better for me because of the simple overclocking.
They are almost the same size so they should fit without any problems.

1) The HP 300W PSU can't handle the gtx1050ti, because the +12 rail has only 12Amp on it, which is too low. You need the new PSU.
2) From the case measurement, the space is less than 170mm, according to the linkers ( pictures) you posted, only the EVGA 1050ti will fit. Either the MSI or gigabyte will not fit, the MSI is 177mm, and the gigabyte is 172mm.

By the way all gtx1050ti are the dual slot GPU, but your case can use the dual slot GPU, only double check the old GPU size to see how long it is. Because the new GPU may or may not interfere those SATA ports, the evga 1050ti is 144.78mm. If the GPU will block the SATA ports, you will buy other L angle SATA cable, like this http://www.satacables.com/assets/images/2sata-2-data-cable-internal-30-guage-yellow-latching.jpg

I don't really understand what u mean with +12v rail doesn't the 1050 ti use the PCI-E without extra 6pin so only 75 watts .
12v * 12amp =144w - 65w ( cpu ) - 75w( gpu ) = 9w left
HP says on the site that if i wanted to upgrade my current cpu ( 65 w ) the max i could go for would be 100 w.

The space is 19 cm max length wise.
Width wise i would have to move the thick black cable ( i just hope the gpu doesn't hit the capacitor or battery) .
