Hello everyone,
i'm going to build my first gaming PC(here are the specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fVRsgL ) and reading a lot of articles I understood that one of the most important parts of a PC is the PSU,so I decided to go with a full modular platinum PSU. Since I live in Brazil, my best options are either Corsair or EVGA, Seasonic and other ''smaller'' brands doesn't sell,or doesn't have a lot of options here. Since Corsair has a good warranty here in Brazil, and much more availability too, I decided to go with either the AX860i or the HX1000i, since both are platinum and full modular. The question is:

Should I buy the Ax860i for the same price as the HX1000i for it's features,or are the AX860i features meaningless and more Wattage is better than the features. My second and really important question is if I decide to SLI the 1080 ti in the future, wich I doubt since a 1080 ti here in Brazil cost as much as a Titan Xp,BUT if i wanted to sli, would the 860w be enough? Or should i get instead the 1000W PSU. Forgot to mention I will be overclocking both CPU and GPU.

If you guys don't want to open the pcpartpicker link, here are the specs:
Mobo: Asus MAXIMUS IX HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
CPU: Intel I7-7700k 4.2Ghz Quad-core processor
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X62 Liquid CPU Cooler
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB SC2
RAM: G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Samsung 960 Evo 250GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive
Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Sorry for such long question, tried to explain in the best way I can. And sorry for the bad english, hope there isn't a lot of mistakes XD. Thanks in advance and hope to hear good answers!

I agree with you, they are overkill, but since I will stay with them for a long time,I want to invest in a really good PSU!

Then go with the AX 860i, it will be enough even for future upgrades.
