alright so my computer was starting to run a little funny, i think that this was mostly due to the fact that i had put in a new solid state drive and transferred all my games to that but some of the directories where out of wack. so i brought it to vegas with me when i drove so that i could reboot when time aloud. finally got the computer to reboot and everything seemed alright, i came home and start tried to play a new game my room mate had downloaded (player's unknown battleground) i try to launch it from steam, it says running in steam and then after a few seconds disappears and never launches. me and my room mates thought that the graphics cards were the culprit for the game not launching, i have 2 560ti's sli'ed together and have never ran into an issue with graphics in a game, but the minimum requirements for the game said either a 660 or a 7850. we thought that maybe because my computer was using 560 ti the game might have been like nope, its not a 660 so we arent launching the game. but my room mate had an extra 7850 laying around so i tried to use that in my computer. after finally getting it running again, i ran into the same issue trying to launch the game, so i put my graphics card back in (560ti). frustrated that i cant play this game me and my room mate start up smite, the game ends up freezing and i have to restart and i do believe this is where the restart loop started. so i shut off the computer for a min or so and restart get back onto smite, make it most of the way through the game, bluescreen, restart computer, restart loop. eventually i decided to reboot the computer again thinking that maybe in some way the radeon drivers where messing with the nvidia drivers. i have done 2 fresh installs and get the same results with the computer and its restart loops. it does seem though that if i unplug the computer for a while that the computer will start up but if it is restarted it goes into an infinite restart loop. the reason that i did the final reboot was because the computer was downloading drivers and windows update would not update either. i have no idea what has been causing this computer to do this. my current build is intel core i7 LGA 1366 3.33gHz hex-core, EVGA x58 classfied, 24GB of 1600 ripsaw RAM. i had 3 different hard drives in computer before the initial reboot, one solid state that i out only games on and 2 non-solid state. we thought maybe the hard drive was dying so i tried to only boot from one hard drive, switched to the other one that was working initially and still had an infinite reboot, i tried all sata connections with only one drive using a couple different sata cables. tried using only one graphics card (switching between the different 560 ti's)in ever different pci slots. tried only using 12 GB of ram as it is a triple channel board, have tried resetting smos by removing the battery. nothing has helped and i dont know what else to try. please help, i want to stab myself in the eyes playing console as a back up

Cooler Master Silent Pro M - 1000W Power Supply with 80 PLUS Bronze Certification and Semi-Modular Cables

I'll try a different psu later today. What's weird to me is that it will start up sometimes but if restarted it freaks out.

just tried a different PSU, same result. started first time, restart computer and then it goes into infinite restart. watching the infinite restart the board gives numbers 69, then 1F then instantly restarts 69 is initialize cache controller and 1F is load keyboard matrix. not really sure what that means but i unplugged keyboard and mouse while it is in its infinite restart and it just keeps doing its thing.

im not sure what you mean bent pins? the only thing that i really did before this issue started was reboot the computer and switch graphics cards. the PCI slots look fine and i tried a different power supply with same results, so i dont think it could be bent pins on that

Since you have run your system with (a) 1 stick of RAM, (b) removed your graphics card (connecting video to onboard graphics), and (c) tested your rig on a different power supply in 3 isolated tests, that really only leaves your CPU and motherboard. My guess would be that your mobo is faulty.

Last thing you could try is perhaps breadboarding just to make sure there's no short happening anywhere in your case. Unlikely to be the cause but maybe worth a check.
