Hello,

My computer has been freezing a lot lately, not due to high temperatures (Maximum 56 Celsius) but just playing games (Rainbow six: Siege / CSGO / Battlerite / Heros of the storm / Fallout 4 / Battlegrounds) for about 10-45 minutes. I went into the BIOS Setup to disable multiple things such as: Cool & Quiet, Turbo Boost, C6, and more.

Specs:
Graphics Card: GTX 970
RAM: 32 GB
PSU: CX750M
Motherboard: Gigabyte
[Water Cooling aswell]

By freeze I assume you mean a lockup, where the screen just stays still and the only way is to turn off the PC

Now that happens when the CPU lacks voltage, especially when the temperatures are low and this happens.
I happen to use a Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 which as the same brand as yours, but is yours 990FX and rev4.0? (Note 970 only support max. FX 8370)

If its not a gigabyte 990fx and rev 4.0, the board is unable to supply enough power for your 220W FX 9590. In that case, return your CPU for a FX 8350/8370, or get a 990fx board, or cool your VRMs by attaching a fan on the motherboard heatsinks.
If yours is a 990FX however, then maybe you got some VDroop, do monitor your voltage using CPU-Z and monitor the voltage while you load...

If yours is a 990FX however, then maybe you got some VDroop, do monitor your voltage using CPU-Z and monitor the voltage while you load up a game. If the voltage drops up your Load Line Calibration from Auto/Low to Medium and retry.
If there is still freezes despite voltage not dropping/LLC enabled, go to BIOS> Advanced CPU features and disable APM/C1E/HPC/Core C States/Power saving and Turbo. Then run the PC.

It should work.

Then you have the option to OC your CPU (again only on 990FX) to 5 GHz using 1.50-1.55V.
But if you value stability more, skip that 300 MHz and be happy with your cooler-running, rock stable 4.7 GHz constant clock FX 9590.

Have a good day. :)
