Solution
That always shows the igpu. It's useless for switchable. I forgot to mention where to change the settings. Right click desktop and click amd radeon settings. Go to preferences then click radeon additional settings. Under power is the switchable graphics settings. Make sure the games are on the list and on high performance. Also change global settings to maximize performance when plugged in.

i dont know how to do that, i can run games on high and it has fps drops every 6 seconds if i get the game on medium settings it will have the same drop of fps´s constantly, im not sure why, and im not sure wich games use the r7 and wich the r9, could you explain how could i make sure that the r9 is being used instead of the r7??

thanks for answering!

If you are getting similar fps and settings as the link I posted then it's fine in that regard. We would just have to figure out what's causing the fps drops. But to see which is being used, you'd still have to check gpu usage. You can turn on the in game overlay in msi afterburner which may help so see the temps and usage when you get the fps drops.

Yes and I don't think that is something that can be changed. Rather it's just telling you what it is. So what was the issue? Was the game not on the list or not set to high performance or did you just need to switch global to max performance? What did you do?

I don't get why it's showing 5 gpus. You may need to use something else since it's not working right. The graphs are showing both high cpu and gpu usage so it might just be from you pushing the limits of what it's capable of. But it's missing the temps. Especially with laptops, heat can be an issue and make you throttle. There should also be graphs of the speeds which would show if it is throttling.

Temperature is not a problem, i removed the dust filter (wich is recommended for this laptop) and the fps problem is with high and low settings so im not pushing the limits of my computer, i really dont know what to do next, i updated all my drivers and the problem persist
