Good evening.

Im having issues with my PC, on idle is running temperatures no less than 68-70 degrees and it was shutting down peaking at 100 degrees with an H70 Corsair Hydro Series cooler.

Replaced thermal paste 4 times
Perfectly placed cooler mount
Fans blowing air from outside to the inside of the case

See attached pic of the current temperature with the actual utilization.

I NEED HELP!

Specs:

Asus Maximus iv Extreme-z
Intel core i7 3770k
Corsair Vengeance 8GB x 2
R9 290x Sapphire
Alienware P2 Area-51 Case (With 750w PSU)

Solution
The Intel fan (or whichever you are using) should have all four pegs firmly pushed down until they click. If you turn the board over, then there should be four sets of prongs gripping the bottom of the board. If not, then you may want to reapply thermal paste (if it hasn't spread) then remount the fan.
