Looking for an absorber of dust and other elements in the air (mostly from the mousepad area)

Hey, in my room there is an insanely high amount of various things in the air - dust, hair, etc., mostly because I have many pets and some things right behind my window which produce stuff mentioned above. I've never so much of this anywhere outside my room, it makes living here very annoying.

My mousepad is Steelseries QCK+ and I have to wash it literally every few days because it gets dirty almost instantly due to a gigantic load of these things floating here all day.

I saw some air cleaners, dust absorbers and some other things on the Internet, but I don't know anything about this topic. Could someone recommend me a good device which would solve my issues?

Note: Someone recommended me a Mi Air Purifier 2 on another forum, but there are 2 reasons I won't get it:
1. It's really expensive, I simply don't have this much money and I have no way to get it.
2. Even if I could, the filters need to be changed somewhat frequently and also cost LOTS of cash.

Thank you very much for help, I really hope there are affordable solutions, I'm losing my willing to live over this - can't do things I like and it's a constant annoyance.

Do you have a vacuum cleaner? Keeping the floor clean will reduce the amount that winds up in the air. So will regular grooming of the pets. You can also try some microfiber dusting cloths and make a sort of tent over the mouse pad. They're designed to attract dust and they're washable. I've seen a similar setup using those Swiffer cloths cut into strips to make a curtain, but that was in use around a film negative scanner where they were primarily concerned with very fine particulates, not so much larger stuff like pet hair.
