When I got Windows 8 I used the free key to install Media Center and used the key that came with windows 8 to upgrade my laptop from Home to Pro.

Now both computers have been upgraded to Windows 10 but today I had to reinstall windows (that is windows 8, aparently there is still a way to upgrade to 10 for free) on my PC. The problem is I cannot activate windows because that key is activated on my laptop.

What will happen if I uninstall the key on my laptop? Will it just automatically activate the key in the UEFI and downgrade my Windows 10 version to Home?
