Does my motherboard support this hard disk?

Hey there,so recently i thought about buying myself a new hard disk, since the one I'm currently using is a really bad 80 gb disk, which is way too little space.
On a local shop website I found a good 1tb hard disk for sale and I want to buy it,however I'm not sure if it will work on my motherboard, since I've read some things online saying that certain older motherboards don't support 1tb drives.I'm already aware that the speed will be limited by the older SATA port which I don't really mind,I just wanna know if the drive will work at all before I buy it.

My motherboard is : https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/G31TMP35.html#hero-specification

And the hard disk I wanna buy is a SATA3 7200 1 TB WD Blue WD10EZEX

Could anyone please help me out? I don't wanna buy something that doesn't even work.

Solution
Motherboard uses Intel ICH7 which has no AHCI mode and no SATA III.

Drive will auto-negotiate to SATA II speeds and run in IDE mode with that motherboard.

I see,so it will still run on this motherboard just at SATA II speed, correct?

Yes, correct. But you might get a SATA II Drives for a lower price than SATA III.
