Hello, basically i need some help , i have amd fx 6350 with a gtx 960,16gb ram with 5 fans, and i want to upgrade to a 970 and i want like to know if that would work , thanks in advance

Considering a GTX 970 is about 130$ used and a 1060 3Gb is 188$, I would just suggest to grab a newer video card.

regarding your power supply,. open case look at label , model is important ... please provide

upgrade to GTX 1060 ...consumes the same power of your GTX 960 , and is faster than GTX 970

GTX 1060 is the way to go if you want GTX 970 ... bottleneck or not does not matter , they are close to each other anyways. get GTX 1060 , faster , newer and consumes less power .

He is already running GTX 960 ... the same watt of GTX 1060 ... no need to change the power supply .
