Hey Guys,
I am worried about the temperature in my GPU (MSI GTX 1060 3GB ARMOR OCV1) it reaches about 62ºC while benchmarking in Heaven Benchmark and 57ºC when idle, is that normal?

Thankyou and Sorry for my bad english hehe

Solution
that's fine, I expect that the fan doesn't switch on till 60C, hence the high idle, I'd be happy peaking in the low 80's, avg high 70's.

I agree 62c is fine. 57c idle temps is because the fans do not kick on until it hits 60c, however with the fans off my 1060 sits in the lower 30s at idle with no fans. I would assume your set power mode to "prefer maximum performance" in the nvidia control panel, this will cause the gpu to run at its base clocks at all times even when at idle, which increases idle temps.

ive set the power mode to "optimal power" and it changing from 57 C to around 55 C, and also when im benchmarking with Heaven Benchmark the fan speed just go 68%, is it normal too?
sorry bad english :)

You need to restart the pc after changing the power mode it does not apply until you restart, that's why its still at 55c. Yeah the fan speed will go up to whatever the stock fan profile says to go to at a certain temp, 68% is fine.

You can also use something like https://www.msi.com/page/afterburner to create a custom fan curve so that the fan(s) will spin up to whatever percentage you set them to at your desired temperature point. 30% at 30C? 60% at 60C? 50% at 65? Your curve, your choice.
