For the vast majority of games the i3 will perform better by quite a bit. Like said above only in work loads that can leverage all of the 6300s cores will it perform better than the i3, however even then the i3 has much faster single core speeds that can enable it to keep up with the 6300 even in multithreded work loads.

For CSGO which is not multithreded well at all you would be much better off with an i3, no matter what you are doing in the background. However why anyone would have 10 chrome tabs open while they game is beyond me, just close chrome while you game
I'm yet to see the FX6300 win a gaming benchmark against a G4560 or i3 6100/7100. If your looking at the i3 6100 then get the newer G4560, it performs nearly exactly the same at a much lower price.
the FX6300 does not have integrated graphics. I wonder if that is your problem? Make sure your monitor is plugged into your graphics card, and not directly to the motherboard. What kind of graphics card are you using?
