As far as i know Windows 7 does not support 7th Gen Kaby Lake CPUs (someone might clarify on this). The build looks fairly solid to me but what are you using it for? If Gaming then what settings/resolution, etc do you want to achieve that will decide what GPU to look at. As for the CPU, no point getting an unlocked 7600K and aftermarket cooler if you are going to put it in a locked board, i suggest rather ditching the cooler and going up to a locked i7 or saving some cash on a locked i5 unless you want to overclock in which case you need a Z270 Motherboard. Finally, i suggest changing the Power Supply to a SeaSonic one around the same price look for the S12-II series. Hope this helps :)

currently have been using a dual core 10yr old gaming pc now-, i hope to have high settings for future gaming and to be able to multi task like watching videos as i play. my toaster is beyond depressing and barely plays league of legends- future high end gaming i hope for is wright -ark -battlefields -full time gaming but thank you i will look into the locked cpu and power supply

How is this? If it costs too much some cutbacks can be made. Overall this would be a beast PC for Gaming, i7 7700, 16GB RAM and GTX 1070. Added a 1TB HDD for bulk storage and a M.2 250GB SSD for Windows, Apps and your primary games for super fast boot/load times. The case was chosen under your choice. Let me know if you want to make any price changes and i can cut back the SSD or CPU down to an i5. But for 1080p this would play just about anything an Max settings in 60+ FPS or even some games on around High in 1440p. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pTWDFd. And if you can afford more i can up the Power Supply to a solid 80+ Gold, up GTX 1070 to a FTW Edition and more, just let me know.

leaning toward a SuperNOVA 550 GS 550W Gold Modular Power Supply - if i went with a higher costly one ? iv never heard of seasonic so kinda iffy about trusting that- besides partspicker- how do i find out if the i7 is ok with the windows 7? if i had too id upgrade to 8 or 10 but i love the windows 7 set up

I read up on it a little and have come to an understanding that they will indeed work on Windows 7 however you won't receive updates on it and drivers will be limited due to Microsoft being a pain haha. So you can indeed stick with 7 if you really prefer it but i would suggest Windows 10 to avoid any problems. Here is a full analysis on this > http://www.pcworld.com/article/3112663/software/microsoft-made-em-do-it-the-latest-kaby-lake-zen-chips-will-support-only-windows-10.html

For the Power Supply, SeaSonic is a highly reputable brand i am surprised you have not heard of them. But the EVGA SuperNOVA is an excellent Power Supply and of course modular unlike the one i listed so there would be no harm in grabbing the SuperNOVA instead if you can afford it. :)
