hello guys,
here's my rig, gigabyte z270x gaming 7
i5 7500
gtx 1060
2 hdd
1 m.2
1 ssd.
klev cras series dual kit 2x4 2133mhz
i want to upgrade my ram to 16 gb. can i put more 2x4 = 4x4 ?
or i should buy a new one 2x8 (in terms of effectiveness)? not overclocking.

please help

No guarantee than an extra 2 x 4gb will work. Ram must be matched.
Buy a 2 x 8gb kit which matches your 2133 ram as to voltage, speed and cas that is also compatible with your motherboard.
Ram vendors have apps where you enter your motherboard and you get a list of supported ram.
Install it.

Then, try installing your 2 x 4gb kit. If it works, you have 24gb. If not, try upping the ram voltage in the bios; that often makes things work.

If no joy, sell the 2 x 4gb kit or keep it as a spare.
